Learners Driver Training was established in 2010 and through many years of growth and brand recognition want to promote our way of teaching to benefit the vast number of up and coming cohort of learner drivers.

By becoming a franchise owner of Learners Driver Training you will be joining a group of like-minded people who really want to pass on their skills and knowledge to their students and make them safer drivers.
Learners Driver Training will take on the business role of answering all potential sales calls, whether by phone, email or txt. We will maintain your calendar as well as provide a complete business package so that you, as driving instructor, can focus on what really matters, that is, teaching your student how to drive safely.

Am I Qualified?

To become a licensed driving instructor, you will need:

  • Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport – Car Driving Instructor)
  • Positive Notice Blue Card (Blue Card or Working with Children Card)
  • A Full Open Driver’s Licence

To become a franchise owner with Learners Driver Training you will need:

  • A determination to become part of a growing group who only has your best interest at heart and a strong sense of providing each and every student with the best instruction that they deserve.

Your Investment

Each potential Franchise Territory Owner has the opportunity to acquire both Automatic or Manual or both Cars for use in the chosen territory. Purchasing a franchise has the following components:

  • Initial Franchise Fee – starting from as little as $9,000 ex GST to $27,000 ex GST
  • Vehicle Purchase – From $22,000 to $26,000 ex GST, including on road costs, signage & dual control configuration (subject to change)

Why should I join Learners Driver Training?

Joining the Learners Driver Training team gives you the great opportunity to own your own business, but not just any business, a proven business with a low investment, simple operations, flexible hours, head office support, national and regional advertising, ongoing training program and continued learning for our owners and their staff, and much, much more.

Learners Driver Training head office will take all bookings and enter those bookings into your own personalised calendar.

There is the initial Franchise Fee and Vehicle purchase mentioned earlier.

Percentage based Royalty Fee and fixed Marketing Fees.

The Franchisee is responsible for the maintenance and fuel costs of their vehicle plus Comprehensive Motor Insurance.

If the vehicle is purchased on a lease to own arrangement, then there are the lease repayments (weekly or monthly) and yearly comprehensive insurance.

The Franchisee must also have and maintain Business Insurance including but not limited to Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Work Cover (if franchisee has employees)

To become a Franchisee, you will be required to have the following:

  • Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport – Car Driving Instructor)

This Certificate can be obtained through a few nationally recognised training organisations. Depending on your time availability, the course can take anywhere from two weeks to several weeks or more. Contact your local training provider for further information.

Learners Driver Training will provide initial training in operating procedures, understanding calendar bookings, invoice production and other in-house systems in a one-day training event.
